New Increased Oklahoma Section 184 Native American Loan Amount Maximum Limits 01/29/2024
Scissortail Financial is excited to announce that the Office of Native American Programs within HUD has increased the maximum loan amount limit for the Section 184 Native American Tribal Loan Program. This program was designed to provide access to mortgage financing for Native American and Alaskan Native tribal members and can be used both on and off native lands. This is great news for Oklahoma and will provide a big advantage for tribal members looking to purchase a home or refinance their existing loan. In addition to the benefit of no monthly mortgage insurance, flexible underwriting, and a very small down payment of only 2.25%, this new loan limit will increase the borrowing power for those eligible to use the program.
These are the new loan amount limits that will take effect on January 30th, 2024.
1 Unit Primary Residence $498,257
2 Unit Primary Residence $637,950
3 Unit Primary Residence $771,125
4 Unit Primary Residence $958,350These are the Oklahoma counties impacted by the new loan limit.
