Scissortail Financial is Committed to Our Local Community
We want to make a difference! 
Beyond the business of financing homes, Scissortail Financial has made a conscious decision to extend its impact beyond mortgages. One of the ways we achieve this is by actively supporting a local nonprofit ministry known as She Brews Coffee House. Scissortail Financial understands that serving the community is about more than just providing a great lending experience. By supporting She Brews Coffee House, a non-profit ministry deeply involved in the support of women and children coming out of difficult circumstances, we can help create a community where everyone can thrive.
She Brews helps local women by giving them a safe place to live, mentorship to lean on, and workplace experience with a job at the coffee shops on Route 66 in Tulsa and in Claremore. These coffee houses provide opportunities for women reentering into society after incarceration. The founder of She Brews, Rhonda Bear, explains that She Brews Coffee is "intended to give back what was given to me. People invested in me, and I tell them all the time it's earning interest because I am now investing in the lives of other women." The She Brews Transition Program (His House Outreach Ministries), is also a faith-based residential transition program with numerous group homes in Claremore, Tulsa & Edmond. Women who are regaining their lives are supported programmatically in the housing program and given the opportunity to work at She Brews Coffee to gain responsibility, leadership, trustworthiness, and social skills.

She Brews is certainly upholding its mission, as many women have moved on from She Brews to hold other jobs in the community or focus on higher education.

We are asking if you would help them by donating.
We will have two collection times for you to drop off your donations at the Scissortail Financial Location at 108th and Memorial.
December 28th and January 4TH from 11am to 2pm.
For the first 100 people to bring a donation, Scissortail Financial will cover your cost of a drink at She Brews so you can experience this ministry at work and the wonderful experience they provide. In addition, Scissortail Financial will give a $5 bus pass to She Brews!
