Financial stability in this very unstable world-
I just wanted to send a letter thanking you for all the hard work you did for my husband and I in refinancing our home. We were one of the ones that got into a no income/no asset ARM loan before the housing bubble due to owning a new business. Not having taxes for 2 years as a self employed couple, we couldn’t use our income from that to finance, so we had no other option.
We planned from the beginning to refinance within a year or two. By the time our finances were in good order to refinance the bubble “exploded”. We went to many different financial companies in an attempt to refinance and were met with absolutely no hope. With the many times we tried and were denied, we began to feel like refinancing was an unattainable hope. One person in particular treated us like we were completely insane and irresponsible to even have gotten into this predicament. I was very worried about the climbing interest rates and desperately wanted to get refinanced before they went really high.
From the first time I met with Wayne Pope he was so helpful. He was honest with me about the difficulty of our situation, but was hopeful that we could get refinanced. It was a long process and I know he worked very hard to deal with all the annoying issues.
